花生 300 g

peanut brittle的做法
if use sesame seeds, no need to toast beforehand
if use peanut, almond or larger seeds, toast at 350F for 10mins (if pre-toasted but not enough)
- rub off skin if you canmix nuts with salt and chilli powder
add sugar and water in a saucepan, turn on medium heat for 5 mins till big bubble forms, then reduce to low heat with lid on for 3 mins
NO stir!9 mins later, the caramel forms (amber color)
add in nuts and stir well and heat for 2 minsadd in baking soda and stir and let it grow real quick
pour out to a parchment paper and spread thin
then add another layer of parchment paper on top. apply with something heavy to press downflip the brittle to cool completely
